Egg Truffle Toast at 'ino in Manhattan.
AN + I read about this Egg Truffle Toast online, and went in search of it last Friday night. We found it, and we were so happy that we did.
It consists of Pullman Bread, scooped for the egg yolk, dressed in Fontina cheese and accented with a drop of truffle oil...is your mouth watering yet???
AN is going to try to recreate the treat this weekend, while I will be making my attempt in a week and a half when I head to Connecticut (and a regular person sized kitchen) for the weekend. (My studio-sized kitchen is much too small for any cooking escapades.)
I will surely keep you all posted on our (hopeful) successes!
