Far off places.

How amazing is this image?  Life can just be so beautiful.

It sort of reminds me of a town in Central Greece called Kalambaka, where the Griffmore Girls and I visited a few years ago.  There are mountainy rocks that jut from the ground and are so tall you really can't imagine that they are real.  Eastern Orthodox monks and nuns built monasteries and seminaries atop these craggy precipices in an effort to hermit themselves from the world below, and although many were destroyed in the World Wars, there are still a handful that remain.  It's such a peaceful place above the world and was quite a sight to see.

Have any of you ever been to see the rock pillars (called Meteora) for yourselves?  If you are ever traveling Greece, I highly recommend it as a sight to see.

That is so incredible. Are we, as humans, pretty amazing? Blown away by how long that must have taken...

Kalambaka was incredible, but this is...well I am not sure there are words for it. Look at the detail and magnitude!
